2 Week-Trip Annapurna Region & Everest Region Length of Trip : 16 days Arrival : Saturday Departure : Sunday Hotels : Kathmandu: "Yak and Yeti" ***** Pokhara : "Fulbari Resort"***** (Private Groups) Namche Bazaar : Hotel "Base de Camp" Ski areas : Manang area, Telicho Lake area, Thorong Pass area, Khumbu Area Skiing days : 4 x 1/2 days, 8 full days Ski elevation : Start at 5.000 to 5.400 meter, Finish at ca. 3.200 meter Variable days : Saturday: Back in Kathmandu, you will have time for sight seeing or shopping, but this day can be also used for skiing in case of bad-weather-days during the ski week. Ski runs : One ski run last average 1 hour and includes the helicopter drop off, a ski time of around 40 minutes and a rest of 20 min at the base camp, where the sherpa stuff will serve you refreshments and where you will have the opportunity to make a phone call or send an e-mail if necessary. Itinerary : Saturday - ARRIVAL KATHMANDU Arrival in Kathmandu on Saturday Pickup at the airport and transport to the hotel Rest and orientation Sunday - KATHMANDU - ANNAPURNA REGION - POKHARA Flight to Pokhara (We will either fly with our Helicopter or take a charter flight to the area and lodge we will ski at for the next 5 days) Arrival at the hotel around 10 A.M. Lunch at 12:00 noon Flight to the ski area at 1:00 pm Go up for one or two runs. The altitude we will ski at on this first day will depend upon on how the group feels. If the group feels good we can go to 5,000 meters right away if not, we can begin at a lower elevation and work our way up as everyone is acclimatized. We will always be skiing down to our base camp, which will be sitting around 3,500 to 3,200 meters. Monday through Thursday - SKIING IN ANNAPURNA REGION 9:00 - 11:30 am Ski two or three runs at 5.000 meter Lunch at the lodge at 12:00 noon 1:30-4:30 pm Ski two or three runs Friday - ANNAPURNA REGION - KATHMANDU This will be the last day scheduled for our Heli ski/board week. 9:00-11:30 am Ski two to three runs Lunch at the lodge at 12:00 noon Flight back to Kathmandu at 1:00 pm This day can be also be used for full day skiing in case of down days Saturday - KATHMANDU Free day for sight seeing and shopping in Kathmandu Sunday - KATHMANDU - EVEREST REGION - NAMCHE BAZAAR Flight to Namche Bazaar - Everest RegionArrival at the Hotel around 10 A.M.
